Last year, 206,864 second-level students learned about LGBTI+ identities and how to support their LGBTI+ classmates through Stand Up Awareness Week. Isn’t that incredible?
This year, we hope to reach even more students and schools across the country and help LGBTI+ young people to feel safe at school.
We know from last year’s School Climate Survey, that for many young people, school is a scary place; with 73% of LGBTI+ students telling us that they don’t feel safe at school.
We want this to change, and we know that you do too. Will you help us stand up for LGBTI+ youth?
