Our first new-look OUT in the Café event took place on Saturday June 29th, marking the end of Pride month and starting a new series of quarterly Cafe sessions. We were delighted to welcome author and activist Will Kennedy to read from his memoir ‘My Secret Life’ and answer questions about the book and his long-standing HIV activism. Will is a leader in Positive Cork and has been working to raise awareness of HIV, including the U=U initiative, as well as reducing the stigma still attached to HIV. My Secret Life is available from Amazon and Waterstones, and is a powerful story of growing up gay in 80s Ireland and turning his life around.

Our next OUT in the Café event will be on Saturday 28th September – speaker to be announced nearer the date.
