Yesterday the Spring Chickens group welcomed local musicians Ritchie and Danny who gave us a great morning of wonderful tunes. It’s a delight to have live music and everyone enjoyed it very much – thanks lads!

In the afternoon Mark Falvey from the Blue & Green Community Network gave us some new ideas on ‘greener household chemicals’ – great recipes for cleaning products simple ingredients like water, vinegar and lemons. This workshop was part of the Network’s Climate Action Week and we certainly all learned something new! We hope to hear more from Mark in the future, and look forward to welcoming Ritchie and Danny back again too.
