Recently we have seen so many services we once did in person, now go online. For example, the easiest way to renew your passport is now online and if you need to access illness benefit, book your car NCT or Road Tax, LPT, pay a bill, top up your phone or give money to a relative – the preferred options for these are all online.
With this in mind SECAD has developed a short course which will be delivered in person and in line with Covid Regulations. …. We need to help others to get across this digital divide even in this small step to access the public services and supports. Overview:
The aim of this course is to enable participants to access day to day online services – including but not limited to:
- Using the internet
- Setting up an email address if you don’t have one
- Learn how to access online services: renew a passport, driving licence, public services card application, book a covid 19 test, book a doctor’s appointment
- Learn how to look for and apply for a job online
Who should attend:
This course is beneficial for anybody who would like to learn how to manage the day to day online services mentioned above and much more.

4 sessions (you must be available to attend all 4 sessions)

Morning Course: 9.30 am – 12.30 pm
Afternoon Course: 1.30 pm – 4.30 pm

Please note: attendees will be required to comply with any Covid health and safety provisions that apply on the date of the training sessions.
