The 1st October is the annual UN International Day of Older Persons. 2023 is the 33rd year this has taken place, and the theme this year is Fulfilling the Promises of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights for Older Persons: Across Generations. To mark the day, on Monday 2nd October the County Mayor, Cllr Healy & representatives of Youghal Community Bus will join our Spring Chickens group to talk about the challenges faced by older people in Youghal.
