Spread the word! The Community Health Project has made the Youghal Social Cafe virtual and the first session will be held on Friday the 30th of October at 12pm-1pm. The Social Cafe was a space for those living with a diagnosis of dementia and their family members to come and socialise, access information in a safe place, enjoy a cuppa, cake and chat and listen to music. It had been meeting once a month since May 2014 and we have been unable to meet since March. The Cafe was, and continues to be, supported by the Cork Alzheimers Society.

Please pass the word on to anyone you know who would benefit from this. Although previously the Cafe was for people from East Cork, the virtual cafe is now open to anyone living with dementia so not exclusive to East Cork.

The cafe will be held via zoom and the link will be sent once people register, some help may be needed to get people up and going if they wish to attend. Plan for the session is a 10 minute intro, welcome and light exercise, 30 minutes guest speaker, 10 minutes Q $A and 10 minutes of music at the end.
