A great time was had by all at yesterday’s storytelling event ‘Weathering the Storm’. This event was a Blue & Green Network Initiative, supported by Cumann na Daoine and Youghal Library as part of Cork’s Environmental Awareness campaign. Older members of the community joined TY students from Pobalscoil Trionoide to share their experiences of storms past and recent, and explore ways we can address weather changes and storm protection in the future. Local historian and photographer Michael Hussey made an interesting presentation of photos from the archives he curates, and recorded the stories we told.
