last Monday we started our new Spring Chickens project for Older People. What a delight to see so many people and the atmosphere was mighty. Nicola Lucey from Youghal Community Health Project gave us a great experience with Singing for the Brain and the harmonies were wonderful!

Thanks to chefs Una and Brian in the CnD Cafe, and Cafe Manager Caroline for a very tasty lunch. A great time was had by all and we’re looking forward to next week already, when we have a presentation by Vanessa Bradbury from the Alzheimers Society and after lunch, a film to watch!
