On Saturday August 15th, Youghal Pride by the Sea will take to the streets again, celebrating our LGBTI+ community and encouraging acceptance, inclusion and equality.
Start the day with coffee and a croissant or scone at CnD Community Café, where we’ll have a merch stall too so you can stock up on your Pride goodies! Open from 9.30 – 11.30am.
Then assemble for the Pride Parade at the Moby Dick statue, Barry’s Lane from 11.30. Bring your flags and your colours. Everyone is welcome, LGBTI+ people, our allies and families. The Parade will move off at 12 sharp, led by our Grand Marshall Eddie McGuinness, of The Outing Festival and West of Ireland EuroPride 2027!
The Parade ends at Green Park, where from 1 – 4pm we’ll have music, stalls, games and a raffle. With our wonderful performers the Mockie Ah Drag Queens, the Wild Atlantic Gay and Eclipse.
If you’d like to volunteer with Youghal Pride, we welcome stewards (training provided), flag carriers, stall minders and games leaders! Get in touch at youghalpride@gmail.com
If you’re part of a drumming group and would like to drum in the parade, do get in touch!
If you’re a crafter or market trader and would like a stall, let us know and we can book you a space.
We look forward to seeing you on the day!
