We opened our Community Café here at Cumann na Daoine in 2019 as we wanted to offer a comfortable, community venue where people could enjoy good quality food at affordable prices. The Café is funded by Pobal, so it is not solely a profit driven enterprise, its focus is on social inclusion as part of our overall community development brief. Since it’s opening, the Café has gained a reputation for food and hospitality and for many of the older citizens of Youghal, it has become their ‘go to’ place for hot nutritious meals. All are welcome as we have something on the menu for everyone.

We have a very exciting opportunity at the moment in the Café – a vacancy for a Café Manager. If you’re good at motivating people, are looking for a new challenge and have good organisational skills, we want to hear from you.
