A new arts project starts this coming weekend, with visual and textile artist Catherine Callanan.

This project, aimed at LGBTI+ people, their friends and allies, also aims to build bridges across cultures, using art to create images of LGBTI+ lives from different perspectives.
The final piece will tour community centres across the county and appear at Youghal Pride 2027.

There will be three workshops, all held at Youghal Accommodation Centre, Redbarn, on Saturdays September 19th and November 7th & 21st, all from 2pm – 4.30pm.

You don’t need any art experience to take part and all materials will be provided. There will also be breaks for tea and chat. Travel costs can be supported.
