Great fun was had at Spring Chickens this week as Niamh Herbert shared her enthusiasm and sense of fun with some chopstick drumming! This, along with Singing for the Brain, had everyone joining in the light exercises and singalong, and the laughter and buzz was mighty! Thanks to Niamh, who runs support groups up at the Youghal Community Health Project in Blackwater Heights, for taking the time to come and share the joy – our drumming was amazing!

Next week we have Gentle Exercises with Amanda; Maura Coyne will introduce her new local history project “Call me Ishmael” Calls Time, along with launching our new-look Free Library and Seedling Share, followed by our Christmas Table Quiz! A packed programme for sure. Remember, new members are always welcome. 

Spring Chickens will hold their Christmas Party on Monday 15th December.
