About Career Re-Ignite Workshops

Career Re-Ignite is SECAD’s flagship employment support programme created to help people return to work, change career direction, or explore new opportunities after a break, redundancy, or change in circumstances.
Each workshop provides a supportive and friendly environment where participants can ask questions, share experiences, and get practical guidance on local job supports, training options, and career development.
This November, a new Frequently Asked Questions segment will address the most common challenges jobseekers face — from CV writing to understanding modern recruitment practices.

• If your qualifications are still valid in Ireland and how to have them recognised
• Where to find local training courses and return-to-work supports

• Where to start when re-entering the job market and planning your career path
