Please see below details of the forthcoming SECAD Workshop in Cumann na Daoine, Youghal on Tuesday 6th October 2026.

The session will begin with a presentation, followed by an opportunity for attendees to meet a member of the SECAD employment team for a one-to-one consultation. (note: workshops are for over 18s).

The title for the October workshop series is: ‘What’s Next? Rebuilding Your Work Options After a Setback!’. The workshop will cover:

• How to rebuild confidence after redundancy or job loss.
• How to identify transferable skills and strengths.
• Exploring a new career and job options.
• How to create a positive plan for your next step into work.

Participants may have the opportunity to register for upcoming courses with SECAD, such as Manual Handling, Safe Pass, HACCP, Retail Skills and more.

Workshops will run subject to numbers.
