From the various lock down and social distancing measures over the past two years, SECAD’S normal weekly face to face employment service was impacted greatly in Youghal and across the county.  All team members quickly started to support people online from March 2020 and have continued to do so.

Understandably that is not accessible or appropriate for some individuals, and recently SECAD has also provided some Group Sessions in Youghal to cover employment skills.

Going forward into 2023, they aim to have one day per month in Youghal if there is demand for 1-1 in person.

Outside of that online Zoom/WhatsApp appointments will continue to be facilitated for anyone from the area and to clarify: the online Zoom meeting are still 1-1but not in person, and for many this works well as they do not have to worry about travel or arranging childcare as they can work the appointment into their day.
