CnD Women’s Group has been an integral part of our Centre since it’s beginning in 1999. Some of the original members remain while new members have joined over the years, giving a diverse range of experiences and ideas to keep the group active and engaged.

We’d like to invite new members to join, and to ask all of you to let your women family members and friends know about this friendly, welcoming and supportive space for women to get together. Members describe the group as “...a safe space for women to be themselves and have a platform to address issues including isolation, loneliness, loss & other challenges. CnD Women’s Group helps members to raise awareness of their
latent abilities, giving them a greater sense of self & enjoying weekly activities in a friendly & happy atmosphere of mutual support”

Join Chair Nikki Bray and members on Wednesday November 5th for tea, cake and conversation – the group have also made history by being the first Youghal voices to be marked on the Cork Memory Map – which will be available to view onscreen on the day.

No need to book – just come along between 11am and 1pm to the group’s dedicated space in Room 23 – and join in the fun!
