GeoScience research: want to take part?

Dear all,

My name is Jess Franklin, I am a researcher at NUI Galway. I am following up to an email I sent in March regarding a project I am working on at NUIG regarding the public perception of geoscientists. I am hoping to get in touch with potentially interested people who would be willing to be interviewed (voluntarily!) by me.

I would be looking for people with different experiences to speak to me for about 30 – 40 minutes. The interviews will now take place remotely on a platform which best suits the participants. I’m am hoping to conduct the interviews during June and July. I will be asking questions about what people think geoscientists do and if they trust them to provide valuable information about the environment. There is no prior knowledge of geoscience required, in fact I am hoping to get a cross section of people with various exposure to geoscience. I have attached an information leaflet with further details.

Should you have any questions about any part of this survey please feel free to contact me. Thank you so much for your time,

Dr Jess Franklin
