Following the recent contract signing for the Celtic Interconnector project, we would like to extend an invitation to you from SECAD Partnership CLG (“SECAD”) to take part in their online consultation process and help shape the strategy for the Celtic Interconnector Community Benefit Fund.
The €2.4 million Celtic Interconnector Community Benefit Fund has been established by EirGrid in recognition of the support of local communities and the temporary disruption which may be caused during the construction phase of the project.
SECAD Partnership CLG, based in East Cork, was appointed grant administrator for the fund in June of 2022 and is currently working alongside project stakeholders to shape the funding strategy and guidelines.
