Youghal Pride by the Sea takes to the streets this Saturday, August 15th, for the annual celebration of LGBTI+ people. Along with their families and friends, the Pride Parade will move through the town full of colour, brightness and positive self-identity!

The Progress Flag is flying over the Town Hall, showing Cork County Council’s support for LGBTI+ inclusion.

All LGBTI+ people, their families, friends and allies are welcome. For a full programme of events, see the image below – in brief, there will be continental breakfasts served and merch stall at CnD Community Café from 9.30 – 11.30am and you can also buy your Pride flags, badges and gifts there.

At 11.30, we’ll assemble for the Parade at the Moby Dick statue, Barry’s Lane and set off at 12 sharp, led by our Grand Marshall, Eddie McGuinness of The Outing Festival and Europride 2028. When the Parade reaches Green Park, we’ll be welcomed by stallholders including the fantastic Tully Crafts and will enjoy an afternoon of music, fun and games with performers Bernie the Wild Atlantic Gay and local singer/songwriter Sinead O’Brien; our fabulous drag queens from the Haus of Le Synn: Letycha Le Synn, Liam Bee and Lola Le Synn and then rock on down with Eclipse!

There will be games, courtesy of Cork Sports Partnership, and a monster raffle on the day.
