SUSI Grant Applications Now Open

Prospective students may feel at a loss on the next steps right now, but it is a good idea to proceed with applications now for SUSI, even if you think that the courses may be delayed.  Depending on circumstances some additional information may be needed too, so now may be a good time to have this all in place & there is a COVID related FAQ below also.

Please note also that many colleges are holding virtual open days.  See www.cao.ie or careersportal.ie or College website.

http://www.susi.ie opens for student grant applications for academic year 2020-21 from 23rd April.

The priority processing dates are 11th June for renewal applications and 9th July for new applications. Applicants who submit their applications on or before these dates will receive priority assessment. The online application system will remain open until late autumn / early winter, after which late applications fulfilling the necessary criteria will be accepted.

 Student Universal Support Ireland (SUSI)

Welcome to the SUSI website where you can find information on making a student grant application. Before applying for your grant, we would encourage you to review the eligibility criteria by selecting your student type based on whether you are PLC,    UndergraduatePostgraduate  or Studying Outside the State

You can also use our Eligibility Reckoner where you can quickly and easily self-assess whether you may be eligible for a grant.

Links to the student grant legislation and a step-by-step guide to help with filling in an application can be found in our Resources page.
