Cork Cultural Companions is a free community programme connecting older adults with shared interests in arts and culture across Cork City and County.
Building on recent interest in starting a Youghal Cultural Companions group (there is currently a group in Midleton), East Cork coordinator Tara O’Donoghue is hosting a Coffee & Planning Morning in Youghal on Tuesday 21st April in The Coachhouse at Old Imperial Hotel from 11am – 12.30pm.
Why not come along and help plan events to attend, meet people with shared interests and enjoy a cuppa in good company? Booking details in image below or call 021 4500688.
Cork Cultural Companions is an Age & Opportunity Arts initiative delivered locally by the Cork County Federation of Muintir na Tíre, supported by the HSE, Cork City Council, and Cork County Council, with additional funding from Creative Ireland and Healthy Ireland.
The programme is designed to combat social isolation and promote cultural participation among older adults, particularly those aged 50+ or 55+, by creating supportive networks of
like-minded individuals who attend cultural events together.
