Here at Seeding the County LGBT+ Development project, we’d like to let you know about some of the events coming up as part of Cork LGBT+ Awareness Week and also as part of our ongoing events.

To mark IDAHOBIT Day, the international day against homophobia, transphobia and biphobia on May 17th, we’re delighted that Cork County Council will raise the rainbow flag at the Town Hall on 17th at noon. All are welcome to join us for this event! We’ll be presenting the council with a flag, so that it can be flown with ease at other times too!
Following that, you’re welcome to join us at CnD Community Café, where we’ll also be flying the flag at Cumann na Daoine. At this informal event, you can meet some new faces, hear about plans for Youghal Pride by the Sea in August, and find information on events and actions in Youghal and around the county.
Finally for today, if you are an activist you may welcome this online training ‘Minding Your Mental Health’ on May 19th. An important issue in today’s world, Lillith from TENI will give us some useful tips and methods for looking after ourselves in a challenging world. Booking details are on the poster.
