Let’s Walk Together! Alzheimers Society Memory Walk September 20th

Walk with Us on September 20th!

Alzheimers Society Ireland (ASI) are delighted to announce a brand new event to their calendar,

Alzheimer’s Memory Walk which will take place on September 20th.

Will you walk with us to support the

64,000 people living with dementia in Ireland?

This September was due to be the Alzheimers Society’s first Alzheimer Memory Walk with events taking place in a number of locations across Ireland, but in line with government restrictions on large gatherings and Covid19 precautions, they will operate their 2020 campaign as virtual walk event. Going virtual will provide a wonderful for opportunity for the public to ‘Make Every Step Count’ wherever you are, while staying apart to help raise much needed funds for people living with dementia in their communities all across the Ireland.

Taking part is easy and involves just 3 simple steps

  1. Decide to join in on September 20th
  2. Sign up at http://www.memorywalk.ie to get your special walk t-shirt and online pack (registration is €18 adults, €5 child)
  3. Share that you are taking part on Alzheimers Memory Walk and encourage your family, friends and colleagues to sign up and join in on the day: you can use this hashtag on social media #ASIMemoryWalk
