Free Employment Support Workshops from SECAD

New Year, New Career: Planning Your 2026

SECAD are delighted to offer their free Employment Support monthly workshops, starting on Tuesday February 3rd at Cumann na Daoine (and other locations across the county).

This workshop supports people who want to plan their career goals for 2026.
* Reflect on your strengths, explore new opportunities, and identify your next steps.
* Learn how to set clear goals, discover work and training options, build confidence, enhance your CV, and prepare for interviews.

Staff member Cora O’Donnell is keen to get the local community more engaged, and wants to remind you that this support is open to anyone who is unemployed and looking at what their next step might be.  You do not have to be in receipt of any payments (but can be).

The workshops are open to anyone over 18 and the support is free, impartial, and confidential.  SECAD’s target groups are listed  below- you are welcome even if you don’t identify with any of the groups.

SECAD asks people to register in advance, so staff can gauge numbers and have enough staff onsite to deliver one-to-one supports.

The link to register is below or you can use the QR code in the poster.
